Our pharmacists take great pride in their dedication to caring for your resident and supporting your nursing staff. As such, both our consultant and in-house pharmacists are clinically trained and are able to provide the following services:
- Therapeutic interchange assistance for cost containment.
- Pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring of Aminoglycosides and Vancomycin under physician protocol.
- Therapeutic monitoring and dosing of Coumadin, Low-Molecular Weight Heparins.
- Intravenous therapy monitoring.
- Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) dosing, monitoring and adjustments.
- Each prescription that we fill goes through 8 quality checks that include both visual and electronic scans. This helps us assure accurate and timely prescription filling and delivery.
- Our state of the art comprehensive pharmacy computer program also allows the pharmacist, when processing a resident’s medication, to review their profile for potential drug interactions, allergies and potential adverse drug effects.
